Classic Vintage Butterfly

For this card I have gone back to one of my most favourite stamp sets ever - Strength and Hope. Both the butterfly and the flourish underneath the butterfly are from this set. This is one of those cards that is really quite quick to make and can be customised simply by changing the colours - I think teal greens and blues would look fantastic!

You can see on the photo below that I have cut back the top panel of the card and rolled the pink swirls along the exposed edge. This just helps add some interest, along with the punched edges.

Here you can see the butterfly stamp in much more detail - notice how intricate the veining and pattern on the wings are! One of the many things I love about Stampin' Up! is how crisp an impression the stamps leave - it really helps with dense images such as this one to get great definition. I have used the rock and roll technique on the butterfly, followed by spray glitter and mounting it on dimensionals. If you have never tried rock and roll - what are you waiting for?! Contact me quick to book a party and I will teach you all you need to know...

Of course I couldn't resist a little bling to go with it... I hope you like it, if so please do leave me a comment - I read them all!

Much love
